Teacher Appreciation Week

I forgot to mention in my post last night that last week was Teacher Appreciation Week. So Matthew's Kindergarten teacher got a hand made card on one day, then we gave her favorite snacks - Diet Coke, Cashews & Raisins Mix, Dark Chocolate, and some M&M Stickers.

We have been so happy with the boys Pre-School that Mark made beef tacos with all the fixins' and took it in on Friday for their Teacher Appreciation Lunch - nice job dad!

This morning went well with photos and baseball. This afternoon I assembled the planters and got everything planted except beets (supposed to soak the seeds overnight). When I went to get dirt to fill the planters, I also found a Roma tomato plant - my favorite! Here's a photo of the deck.

Out for pizza and picked up a Tom & Jerry movie on the way home tonight.

On another note, I have been caffeine free all week, but I broke down today and had a Diet Coke. After running around all morning and it was 80 degrees here but felt like 90, I just had to get rid of the daze in my head. I usually only have one caffeinated soda at lunch every day, so it's not too bad to begin with, but I did it while I was pregnant, so I can do it again. We'll see how tomorrow goes.
